Wow Wee, an Optimal Group company, has announced the retail launch of the new positively adorable Wow wee Alive Baby Animal species, Alive Sleeping Cuties™, and Alive Minis, and life-like collection of domestic and exotic plush pets that respond to love and attention. Complete with adoption papers ready for signing, these soft, huggable companions are interactive playmates offering the realistic experience of nurturing a baby animal.
The new cuddly Wow Wee Alive Baby Animals include four new species – a Koala Joey, Husky Puppy, Seal Pup, and Leopard Cub – that feature soft bodies perfect for snuggling and animated facial and vocal expressions triggered by users' nurturing touch. Responding to owner’s affection via touch sensors, the baby animals respond when caressed on the head or back with various expressions including blinking eyes, moving mouths, and realistic noises. The baby animals also feature an internal tilt sensor that enables them to sense when they are turned over and then react with an appropriate response. The award-winning Wow Wee Alive Baby Animals line launched in 2008 with four species – the Lion, Polar Bear, White Tiger, and Panda Bear Cubs – and was a recipient of the i-parenting Awards 2008 Outstanding Products Award.
The critically acclaimed Wow Wee Alive™ Cubs, introduced in 2008, capture the technology of Hollywood-style animation in the form of life-like plush animal babies. New for 2009 are four new cuddly varieties that come “alive” with love and attention – the Wow Wee Alive Seal Pup, Husky Puppy, Koala Joey, and Leopard Cub. Each features animated facial and vocal expressions triggered by users' touch and comes with adoption papers and a family portrait. Other products included in the Wow Wee Alive line are adorable, 8-inch Wow Wee Alive™ Minis, complete with a feeding bottle the cubs can sense. These Wow Wee Alive Minis feature touch and tilt sensors triggering soft endearing sounds from snoring to gurgling that indicate the cubs’ various moods.
